Before you start playing Drift Zone, you'll need:
A Web3 wallet (like MetaMask), connected to the Sei Network
An account on MEXC.com (or Drift Tokens - $DT)
Some funds to purchase Sei and DT tokens
The easiest way to set up your wallet for the Sei network is to follow the steps at https://www.docs.sei.io/learn/wallet-setup.
Simply navigate to this page, click on "Connect Wallet", choose your wallet provider and follow the prompts. This will automatically add the correct Sei Network to your wallet.
Should you have issues with the automatic connection, you can also add the Sei EVM manually. Follow the steps outlined here, using the chain information provided below:
Network Name: Sei
New RPC URL: https://evm-rpc.sei-apis.com
Chain ID: 0x531 (decimal 1329)
Currency Symbol: SEI
Block Explorer URL: https://seitrace.com
Drift Zone is on the Sei network, meaning you will need to use Sei to pay for transactions.
Luckily, transactions on Sei are very affordable. A single transaction is approximately $0.000011 to $0.000027 (in USD), meaning that as little as $1 worth of Sei will give you plenty of gas for transactions.
Note: Each Sei address in Sei V2 has a corresponding EVM / 0x address, and vice versa. When you use Sei V2 for the first time, it is necessary to link these two addresses.
Please follow the steps at: https://www.docs.sei.io/learn/linking-addresses to link your EVM and Sei addresses. You will need to link the two and use the correct Sei address when you are withdrawing $DT from MEXC.
Once you have linked the addresses, your balance will correctly show in your wallet.
Purchase SEI on MEXC.com or your preferred exchange
Withdraw SEI to your wallet address
Make sure to select the SEI network when withdrawing
Import the DT token to your wallet:
Withdraw DT to your wallet address from MEXC
Visit the Drift Zone game: https://play.driftzone.io
Connect your wallet
Ensure you have:
SEI tokens for transaction fees
DT tokens for in-game purchases
A faucet is available in-game to claim a small amount of SEI. Each player may do a one-time claim of 0.002 SEI to power their in-game transactions. This should cover approximately 30 transactions (depending on gas fees).
Note: You will need a small amount of SEI already in your wallet to claim from the faucet (for transaction fees)
Always verify you're on the correct network (SEI) before making transactions
Keep some SEI in your wallet for transaction fees
Double-check all addresses when sending tokens
Never share your wallet's private keys or seed phrase

The token symbol (DT) and decimals should auto-fill. Press "Next".
Then when prompted, select "Import".
You will now see "DT" listed in your wallet.
Ensure you're withdrawing to the correct network (SEI) using the address you linked. If in doubt, you can confirm both your EVM and Sei wallet addresses by connecting your wallet to https://app.sei.io/ where you will see both addresses in the "Overview" section.
